The Society of Camera Operators has issued a statement in response to the ongoing wildfire situation in Los Angeles.
“We are heartbroken to witness the devastation caused by yesterday’s fires in Los Angeles. But we are also touched by the outpouring of support from our membership around the world. If any LA-based SOC member needs assistance finding temporary housing – or is able to lend temporary housing in an unaffected area to SOC members in need – we ask you to email operations@soc.org with either “LA fires NEED help” or “LA fires GIVE help” in the subject heading.”
