Hosted courtesy of Fujifilm, the casual celebration offers hosted appetizers and a drink. Cash bars will be available for additional beverages. The SOC and Fujifilm ask that each member and a plus one register only if they will be attending. This event is nowhosted, and there is no charge to SOC members and guests. SOC Awards Banquet – Saturday, February 15, 2025. Doors open at 5 pm for the red carpet and pre-reception – Hollywood Ballroom – Loews Hollywood Hotel.
Join the SOC in celebrating the art and craft of camera operating and the crew that make it happen. In response to the LA fires, this year’s traditional banquet-style awards evening has some changes. Traditionally black tie, this year’s awards are welcome to all, be it black tie, or come as you may. The SOC will also be celebrating the heroes of our community.
The Awards evening kicks off with a hosted pre-reception, photo exhibit, and red carpet, followed by a three-course sit-down dinner, awards ceremony, and spirited after-party. Arrive at 5 pm to enjoy the evening, and the ballroom doors open for dinner at 5:45 pm. As part of your awards seat/ table package, you receive a ticket to join the Friday reception.
