ScreenSkills ENGAGE mentoring programme

ENGAGE is a six-month mentoring programme from ScreenSkills in association with industry specialists thinkBIGGER! Designed exclusively for deaf/disabled talent working in the screen industries – film, TV, games, animation or VFX – the free programme will provide successful applicants the chance to be mentored by senior professionals. It will also provide a unique opportunity to:

  • build your contacts
  • receive coaching support
  • sound out new ideas
  • reflect on and develop your career

ScreenSkills ENGAGE Mentoring Programme in association with thinkBIGGER! is supported by ScreenSkills as part of the BFI Future Film Skills programme using funds from the National Lottery.

Who it’s for

In order to apply for the ENGAGE programme, you must :

  • work in the screen industries: film, TV, games, animation or VFX
  • identify as disabled
  • have at least 1-2 years experience in a role behind the camera – sorry, this opportunity is not open to on-camera talent
  • be over 18
