As part of its Making Virtual Production Real season, ScreenSkills are running a series of webinars and in-person open days to introduce screen industry professionals to the creative opportunities of Virtual Production.
Last November, ARRI X CT offered the opportunity for industry specialists to visit their Mixed Reality Production Stage. Now, we’re happy to announce another open day in January. This time our host will be Garden Studios, who are inviting students, apprentices and those with relevant entry level skills and knowledge to visit their facilities.
Who it’s for?
ScreenSkills is offering this opportunity exclusively to entry level applicants (18+) who have a proven interest in a field that is related to the growing field of Virtual Production. This includes those who can demonstrate some experience in or knowledge of:
- Film or HETV production
- Game design
- Lighting design
- Live events
Or are enrolled in a course or have recently studied one of the following:
- Computer programming
- Digital engineering
- Digital or graphic design
You do not need to be enrolled in or have completed a university course to attend this session. However, some demonstrable experience in one or more above the above fields is required.
The numbers of attendees for each session will be limited, and the content has been specifically designed to focus on the roles listed. Please do not try to book if your experience does not match these criteria.
There will be more virtual production open days announced in due course, for a variety of different departments, skills and experience levels.
