Eurocine returns on 8th–9th May 2026 with a clear message to the European screen industry: register now and be part of it. The fifth edition of the show takes place in Budapest at Hungexpo Budapest, uniting professionals from across cinema, streaming, television and emerging formats under one roof.

Positioned as a celebration of the moving image, Eurocine offers a platform for every department across the industry – from cinematographers and directors to editors, gaffers, producers and educators. With demand growing year-on-year, the 2026 edition is expected to be the most attended yet.
The move to Hungexpo marks a significant step up for the event. Set in one of Central Europe’s key production hubs, the new venue reflects Eurocine’s ambition to expand its reach and strengthen partnerships across the region.
The 2026 edition will be hosted at Hungexpo with strategic support from the National Film Institute Hungary, alongside official partnerships with the Hungarian Society of Cinematographers, the Hungarian Cinematographers Association, the Budapest Film Academy, IMAGO, the IMAGO Technical Committee and Women in Cinematography, alongside a growing network of international cultural and industry partners.
Eurocine will also welcome many associations including the Production Guild of Great Britain as partners for 2026, marking a collaboration focused on inclusion, growth and shared opportunities across the sector and delivering a hosted buyer programme.
Attendees can expect a packed two-day programme built around four core areas: expo, screenings, symposium and academy.
The expo floor will bring together leading manufacturers and service providers across camera, post-production, sound, lighting and virtual production. Visitors are encouraged to register now to secure access to hands-on demos, new technology launches and direct conversations with industry suppliers.
Other features include a locations event, GREEN and sustainability feature, Talent Bar, and education hub, as well as an exclusive display of the works of the late Hungarian cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond ASC, making this a true gathering for film and TV professionals and enthusiasts.

The comprehensive symposium returns for 2026, with a programme of over 40 talks, panels and workshops led by working professionals across the European screen sector.
Sessions will explore craft, ethics, production workflows and future industry trends, with contributors including Holland, Leitz & Aputure, Bill Bennett ASC, David Stump ASC, Balazs Bolygo BSC, Tim S Kang & Nic Sadler, alongside the IMAGO Technical Committee.
