Nanlux is expanding its advanced light shaping solution lineup with the introduction of the FE30 (RF-FE-PB) and BE55 (RF-BE-PB) Parallel Beam Reflectors. The smaller FE30 is engineered for FE mount and FM mount fixtures, while the BE55
Parallel Beam Reflector supports BE mount and Bowens mount fixtures up to 800W*. *Not compatible with Forza 720/720B.
Both FE30 and BE55 reflectors feature a lightweight, portable design with all-weather protection. They provide gaffers and cinematographers a powerful parallel beam output for natural-looking light in tight spaces, mobile lighting setups, and detail-fill
applications. When directed toward a reflector, they offer higher lighting efficiency and create a truly versatile lighting solution.
Higher Illuminance, Longer Throw
The FE30 and BE55 Parallel Beam Reflectors feature an 8° beam angle, producing a high-quality beam that is highly defined. By concentrating light into being near parallel, they boost efficiency and deliver focused high intensity illumination. This is
ideal for small spaces or detailed spots.
When the NANLUX Evoke 150C is combined with the FE30, it delivers approximately 12.1 times the output of bare light (5600K, @3m). The Evoke 600C with BE55 achieves about 23.4 times greater output (5600K, @5m). The increased illuminance also compensates for long-distance falloff. This allows the fixtures to be placed further away on set to achieve natural-looking illumination.
Compact Design, Minimal Weight
The FE30 and BE55 Parallel Beam Reflectors are made from lightweight materials, allowing for easier one-handed handling. It also reduces the burden on operators during setup, use, and transport. The FE30 measures approximately 30 cm (11.81″) in
diameter and weighs only 1.38 kg (3.04 lb), while the BE55 measures approximately 55 cm (21.65″) and weighs just 5.56 kg (12.26 lb).
Minimise Light Spill
The FE30 and BE55 Parallel Beam Reflectors are equipped with an internal grid and an external snoot, helping to reduce light spill and optimising beam quality. The pre-installed snoot features an all-in-one design, requiring no assembly and ready for immediate use.
Weatherproof Protection
Both the FE30 and BE55 offer IP66 all-weather protection, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh environments. The transparent optical cover at the front effectively prevents dust and insects from entering the reflector, maintaining long-term light quality.
