Mandy Walker ASC ACS has won the ASC award for Feature Film for Elvis at the 37th Annual ASC Awards, presented by Hong Chau.
She is the first woman to win the ASC’s marquee trophy.
The Theatrical Feature Film ASC winner has won the Academy Award nearly half of the time — 17 times in its 36 years. Greig Fraser won the ASC’s top prize last year for Dune, en route to winning the Cinematography Oscar.
Walker will vie for the Best Cinematography Oscar on March 12 against fellow ASC nominees Darius Khondji (Bardo) and Roger Deakins (Empire Of Light), along with James Friend (All Quiet On The Western Front) and Florian Hoffmeister (Tár).
