The Jebsen Tiffen Experience Day was held in Beijing on Monday 21st August at the CineSpace facility in the Soho business area of Beijing. This was an opportunity for DPs, cinematographers and Steadicam operators to get to know the latest range of Tiffen filters and also get an insight into the Steadicam M-2 sled and Volt and see the new Steadicam G-70X2 arm prototype. Attendance was around fifty guests over the day, all very happy and keen to soak up any information available.

Tiffen’s Robin Thwaites hosts the event
In the morning Robin Thwaites, Tiffen director of International Sales introduced the latest filter developments from Tiffen with a short presentation after which the morning was spent with a live filter demonstration and workshop with three live cameras and a lit set.
The afternoon saw a presentation based on the M-2, Volt, Exovest and new G-70X2 arm followed by opportunities to test the system. There were a number of well known local Steadicam operators who dropped by and were most impressed with the new arm and stayed some time for a chat and catch-up.

The day finished around five with some stragglers reluctant to leave but promising that they would visit BIRTV, find the Jebsen stand and continue any unfinished conversations.
