Mar 21, 2023

Survey results to be presented at Euro Cine Expo 2023

HFF – The Munich Film School (Hochschule für Fernsehen Munich und Film München) is carrying out an online survey on the topic of ‘Teaching Cinematography’.

As one of the most renowned film schools in the German-speaking countries, HFF Munich offers its students a choice of film-related study courses, provides professional training for directing documentary and fiction films and series, editing, production, screenwriting, and cinematography; as well as VFX supervision and production.

Teaching cinematography nowadays is deeply affected by topics like virtual production, multi-camera shooting, sustainability and shooting analogue in the digital era.

HFF would like to learn more from respondents on these four topics, and is inviting cinematography teachers to take part in its online survey:

  • Virtual Production – Shooting in LED volumes
  • Multi-camera shooting
  • Sustainability and green shooting
  • The use of analogue film in teaching (digital) cinematography.

The initial results of the survey will be presented at Euro Cine Expo in Munich from 30th June-1st July, alongside the full report which will be published online thereafter.
