Euro Cine Expo announces postponement

Mar 18, 2021

The Euro Cine Expo team have today announced the postponement of the event until 2022.

A combination of venue policy, restrictions in Germany due to the ongoing COVID pandemic plus further waves across Europe, and the low take up of vaccines have meant that running the event is a unrealistic proposition for this year.

Discussions were made to postpone until the Autumn or latter part of 2021, but realistically the team feel that even then the situation will not be significantly under control to give people the confidence needed to attend large events such as this.

Euro Cine Expo’s priority is exhibitor and visitor safety and they want to ensure that when they host Euro Cine Expo, they do this at a time when they are able to deliver a valuable event for everyone involved. In view of the ongoing timescales which the organisers are hearing about from multiple countries, a 2022 event would be better placed to bring the industry together at a time when networking and engagement can be maximised.

The organisers are finalising details with the Zenith venue in Munich and are pleased to confirm that they will be hosting Euro Cine Expo in June 2022. Full details will be available shortly.
