CW & The Making Of at IBC2026: Creamsource founder Tama Berkeljon

Sep 17, 2026

At IBC2026, Mike Valinsky of The Making Of sits down with Tama Berkeljon, founder of Creamsource, at the Cinematography World pavilion. Tama tells the company’s origin story.

He started with a box of parts in the front room of his one-bedroom flat, then built a large-scale LED system to rescue George Miller’s Happy Feet motion-capture shoot. From there, Creamsource grew through Greig Fraser’s work on Killing Them Softly, Zero Dark Thirty and Star Wars.

He also introduces the C3, launched at the show after four years of R&D. It’s a 3,000W full-colour Fresnel with a seven-colour engine. Tama also covers the new Vortex V2 for broadcast and mid-size studios, why feedback from gaffers and rental houses shapes every product, and the wider Fresnel range still to come.

Kindly sponsored by Creamsource, Aputure, Kino Flo, MRMC and Other World Computing.
