Camera Revolution has announced a two-day workshop/demo day, on 18th and 19th October at Shepperton Studios, offering a fantastic opportunity for production and camera crews to familiarise themselves with a host of different pieces of filmmaking equipment and gain helpful technical information and advice.
Camera Revolution has partnered with Motion Impossible, Flying Cameras, The Wire Rig Co, Auto Action, Bickers Action, Rob Herring Tracking, ARRI Rental, Chapman UK, Panavision, Sunbelt Rentals, Ronford Baker, Brownian Motion, Cine Aero, Chapman UK and The Grip Company to host this hands-on, free-of-charge event.
Netflix / Shepperton Studios have graciously lent a 22,000sq/ft workshop, there is no charge for exhibiting nor entry and there is parking onsite.
“As production members move up the ladder at pace, this free-of-charge event provides the ideal opportunity for members of the film industry to get to talk to suppliers about equipment and to see how it all works up-close, without the pressure of a busy shooting day,” said Douglas Low, operations manager at Camera Revolution.
“In these uncertain times companies pooling resources to provide a free networking and learning experience is a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved with camera and grip equipment.”
