Hosted by Maisie Adam, the BAFTA Television Craft Awards with Samsung OLED celebrated the outstanding talent and creativity of television craftspeople who brought the top programmes of 2025 to life.
In Photography & Lighting: Fiction, Ryan Kernaghan won for Trespasses, beating a strong field that included Matthew Lewis for Adolescence, Catherine Goldschmidt for The Last of Us, and Suzie Lavelle for Severance.
Trespasses
In Photography: Factual, Jordan Bryan took the award for Our Land: Israel’s Other War. The nominees reflected the breadth of contemporary factual storytelling, including the camera team behind Secrets of the Penguins, Marcel Mettelsiefen for State of War: Fighting the Narcos, and Stefano Ferrari and Tim Cragg for Surviving Black Hawk Down.

Two programmes, Adolescence and The Celebrity Traitors, received two BAFTAs each. For Adolescence, Philip Barantini won Director: Fiction and James Drake, Jules Woods, Rob Entwistle, Kiff McManus, Kyle Pickford and Adam Méndez won for Sound: Fiction. For The Celebrity Traitors, Ben Archard, Siggi Rosen-Rawlings, James Tinsley, Stuart Frossell, Martin Adams and Nathan Lindley won the Entertainment Craft Team category, and its Sound Team won for Sound: Factual.
The Last Of Us
Shining a spotlight on emerging talent, writer Janice Okoh won Emerging Talent: Fiction for Just Act Normal and director and BAFTA Breakthrough Olaide Sadiq won Emerging Talent: Factual for Grenfell: Uncovered.
The BAFTA Television Craft Special Award was presented to Simone Pennant MBE, founder and CEO of The TV Collective. The award recognises Simone’s extraordinary leadership and the lasting legacy of change she has brought to the screen industries since founding The TV Collective in 2008, which has been credited with shifting broadcaster attitudes towards inclusion and having an immeasurable impact on the freelance community.
