Production Guild UK announced the winners of the 2026 Production Guild Awards in Association with Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden this weekend during a gala event at The Royal Lancaster London, on Saturday 12th September. The ceremony was attended by almost 500 Guild members, industry partners, broadcasters and production companies, and was hosted by actor, comedian and television presenter Ellie Taylor.
The Awards were crowned with the presentation of the annual Production Guild UK Contribution to the Industry Award to outstanding television executive Anne Mensah. Anne was recognised for her work across decades in commissioning for BBC, Sky and Netflix, building a portfolio that showcases the very best of British production, from Chernobyl, The Crown and Top Boy to Baby Reindeer and Adolescence.

Anne was honoured for a career spent championing voices that deserve to be heard – often those which may not have otherwise been heard. She has used her platform to change the industry for everyone who comes next: through the careers she has backed, the producers she has trusted, and the talent she has championed.
Before giving Mensah a standing ovation as she received her award, it was only fitting for attendees to see messages of congratulation from some of this talent, including Derry Girls creator and writer Lisa McGee; Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker; Mark Herbert, Warp Films CEO and executive producer of Adolescence; Top Boy actor and producer Ashley Walters; Jane Featherstone, co-founder of Sister; and Gentlemen creator Guy Ritchie.
The Production Guild Awards celebrate excellence in production across 12 categories, recognising and the brilliant work of Guild’s exceptional below the line membership. Those honoured included key production talent behind the biggest UK films and high-end television series in the last year, including The Night Manager, Young Sherlock, I Swear, Frankenstein, and Supergirl.
As well as the awards ceremony, attendees were also treated to a gala dinner, welcome reception sponsored by Cast & Crew, and an after party sponsored by Garden Studios and Translux.

Kaye Elliott, Production Guild UK CEO said: “I’m delighted to see Anne Mensah honoured with our Contribution to the Industry Award. Her commitment to diverse voices from across the UK, and the global impact of British stories, is something closely aligned to our mission here at the Guild.
We exist to celebrate and support the people who make the stories that move us, that make us laugh, and that remind us, again and again, why we fell in love with this industry in the first place.
In a world that moves faster every year, our members are the ones who still make people stop, sit down, and feel something, and our Awards are a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the incredible impact they all make in our industry.”
Bianca Gavin, Production Guild Chair and Head of Production, Scripted, VICE Studios, said: “These awards celebrate the expertise and talent that goes into the UK’s consistently superb HETV and film productions. As we celebrate these achievements, we can also honour the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration behind them.”
